Posted by Zee On November - 20 - 2007 ADD COMMENTS

Whenever you ask somebody about bonsai planting or some other bonsai information, you are sure to get an answer. But the answers do not always seem so convincing, despite the fact that you are a beginner yourself, and you hardly know anything about how to plant bonsai. This is because the world of bonsai is full of hearsays and myths. Take this for example – most of us are in to the belief that bonsai plants cannot grow beyond certain centimeters from the ground. This is not true. A traditional bonsai can grow up to, and sometimes beyond, a meter from ground!

Planting bonsai is equivalent to training a plant to behave in a particular way. And as a beginner, you do two things at the same time – train the bonsai to take up a certain role and train yourself in training the plant. Confusing? But that’s how it is! And once you practiced enough and mastered the art, you can ensure vitality for your plant and satisfaction for yourself.
